Serafine Klarwein, founder of Curious Experiences
Founded by Serafine Klarwein four years ago, this Mallorca-based company focuses on creating experiences that celebrate special moments, strengthen the community, and foster personal growth. Through her events, supported by the expertise of her business partner Tracy Courtney, Serafine offers people of all nationalities the opportunity to experience genuine, meaningful encounters designed with a clear purpose: to connect, share, and grow.

Experiences that leave a lasting impression
Curious Experiences focuses on two main areas of activity: community events, which are open to everyone and designed to be meeting points for people from all walks of life. ‘At our events, you’ll find people whose paths might never otherwise have crossed because they are so different. However, they find something in common at the events we organise,’ says Tracy. On the other hand, there are personalised experiences, both at a private and corporate level, which are completely individualised and cater to the needs of each client.
What sets Curious Experiences apart from other event companies is its focus on connection and authenticity. It’s not just about meetings but about creating environments in which people can share, discover, and form deep bonds.
‘We want the experiences to be meaningful,’ explains Serafine Klarwein.’ We aim for people to feel that they are part of something bigger and that each event really impacts their lives.’
Events that create community and connections
The community is at the heart of Curious Experiences. Throughout the year, they organise community events designed for curious people who want to explore new connections. Some of their most popular events include an annual skills-share gathering, in which participants share their knowledge and skills with others, creating an exchange system reminiscent of the old bartering days.
Along the same lines is the WOW – Wiser Older Women workshop, designed with and for experienced and wise women who want to share their experiences, inspire others and continue learning from others.
On the other hand, Seraf and Tracy also organise events for adolescents to create safe spaces where young people can express themselves, learn and form strong and genuine bonds with people their age. For Tracy and Seraf, the rites of passage from adolescence to adulthood are an essential part of the process. ‘In these meetings, young people learn things they are not taught at school, combining physical or creative activities with an invitation to self-exploration’.
The MindFOODness events also attract a lot of attention. They take place every four months in Mallorca, dedicated to the art of mindful eating.
Singles Events
Singles encounters are enriching experiences.
An essential mainstay of Curious Experiences is the singles events, which differ fundamentally from other gatherings. The aim is for single people aged between 30 and 70 to find a connection beyond dating. It is not just a blind date or a speed dating event. The idea is to create a space where conscious and curious men and women can feel safe and comfortable, without the pressure of finding a partner, but with the opportunity to build new and potentially deep connections.
Seraf and Tracy carefully design and guide every event so that all participants have new and meaningful experiences. Through a variety of activities, each person has the opportunity to interact with others authentically and without imposed expectations.

Bespoke experiences
In addition to their community events, Curious Experiences designs personalised experiences for individuals and companies. They create every event from scratch, without templates or standard formulas. Seraf and Tracy work hand in hand with their clients to ensure that each celebration is unique and meaningful. These events range from stag and hen parties to weddings, baby showers and personalised celebrations, but completely different from conventional events.
Seraf and Tracy also organise experiences for people who don’t need a specific reason to celebrate. They want to turn a family gathering into something special or seek a special gift for a loved one. ‘These are celebrations that reflect the essence of the people involved, with rituals and experiences that make the moment unforgettable,’ the women point out.
‘We recently organised a day of connecting with nature for a family living on the island’, they say. They organised a full day of activities such as a herbal workshop, breathwork, conscious catering, and mindfulness activities that allowed participants to open up physically and emotionally.‘It was an opportunity to strengthen the bond between family members as they had never experienced anything like this together before’.
Tailor-made experiences can include various activities, such as adventure, art, dance, activism, games, learning new skills, rites of passage, shamanic journeys, sound and singing, team building, creative writing, and much more. They are all carefully designed and guided to be a journey from start to finish.

Purposeful team building
Curious Experiences is also the answer for companies looking to strengthen the team spirit without resorting to typical activities. At a recent event, they helped a real estate agency establish a connection between all the departments, which don’t normally interact, getting everyone to work together while having a whale of a time.
