Our recent participation in the National Insurance Mediation Congress<\/a> in Gij\u00f3n, where we connected with 800 other mediators from across Spain, not only provided us with a platform to improve our services but also reassured us of our expertise in the field.
\nDuring two intense days, we attended presentations and round tables that explored topics of great relevance for the future of the insurance sector<\/a>. Assistants discussed vital issues such as digital policy<\/strong> and the difficulties of covering risks in specific production sectors, such as the food and recycling industries. These topics are fundamental to anticipating how to offer better solutions to our clients.
\nJuan Manuel Garc\u00eda L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, from the European Institute of Behavioural Sciences, taught us nonverbal communication skills to help us in our day-to-day work. He taught us how to observe and interpret body language<\/strong> to better understand the client and improve our communication. By analysing human behaviour<\/strong>, you can detect when someone is lying to you or is uncomfortable with what they are saying. A perfect mix of psychology and insurance will help us offer a more transparent and reliable service.
\nOn the other hand, Carles Sierra<\/strong>, director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of the CSIC, alerted us to the use of AI in the insurance industry and its limitations, especially in the integrity of the data offered by this technology. Pedro Agudo Novo<\/strong>, a former national cyber-intelligence coordinator, provided us with tools to identify cyber fraud and mobile scams<\/strong> in an increasingly digital world. This growing threat affects both customers and companies.
\nIt was particularly invigorating to hear from the multiple Olympic champion Sa\u00fal Craviotto<\/strong>, who shared invaluable lessons on how discipline, teamwork<\/strong>, and perseverance are the cornerstones of achieving goals.
